Operation Valkyrie's 27th October 09 WOE

The WOE for this week was ran through smoothly by OPV and it's members, having conquered Yolbriger(Gef12) for the entire 2 hours of WOE , defending against infiltration of numeral other guilds with succession and managed to keep the emperium intact for the entire 2 hours of WOE. Not to mention the additional bonus of managing to capture Honglou (Pay6) at the very last minutes of WOE. 20:57 to be exact.

The usual Pre-WOE set ups began at around 6.30 where members started to gather at the OPV rendevouz point which is outside the Prontera Inn. Buffers and warpers were placed by generals and the members were slowly stacking up in attendance. WOE was kicked off by an early emergency call by LaraCroft~* signalling the ignition of OPV into the days WOE. Members were asked to get into their respective defensive positions and assume their duties.

Operation Valkyrie's early defensive forces.

The woe started off slowly with only meager attempts of infiltration from the likes of NEO and NouevelleVie which posed not much of a threat for OPV's defensive forces, clearing their pushes in usually a time of 10 seconds or under.

failed attempts by Neo and NouvelleVie

Further attempts of breaking through OPV's defensive were proved fruitless for the day when the only attempt of breakthrough that seemed threatening was initiated by a combined forces attack by guilds, Revival and Reanimation. Although managing to breakthrough the front door, their pushes proved unsuccessful as the unshaken forces of OPV manage to overrun them and eventually send them all back to their spawn locations.

OPV forces facing casualties on the frontline but still hold they're ground.

The OPV defence force showing off their determination and patience by mantaining a steady 2 hour long defensive position. Totally unshaken.

To end the post, The day's WOE was impressive by my standards and I still see room for improvements. This is me saying Thanks to all who attended the WOE that day and I hope to see OPV's attendance and performance soar even higher as we climb the ladder to glory.

Signing Off,
Kenn
